Responsive Education Solutions seeks a Special Education Teacher to support students with disabilities, develop IEPs, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to meet federal, state, and district SPED requirements.

The role includes ARD scheduling, progress evaluation, coordinating services, and ensuring compliant assessments, with emphasis on transition planning and ongoing professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education required.
• Valid Texas SPED teaching certificate required (or letter of eligibility).
• Additional grade level or content area certification may be required for select positions.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with campus administration to support child find efforts and records requests within timelines.
• Schedule ARD meetings to ensure proper placement and IEP development within timelines.
• Assist in acquiring contracted service providers as needed.
• Plan and manage evaluations and REED processes ensuring timelines are met.
• Provide SPED accommodations and services in collaboration with general education staff.
• Ensure IEPs are properly written and implemented, with regular progress monitoring.
