Job summary

ResponsiveEd seeks a dedicated Special Education teacher to support students with a range of disabilities. You will partner with parents, general education teachers, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district SPED requirements.

You will lead ARD meetings, monitor student progress, and coordinate services to meet individual needs, while maintaining open communication with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education or letter of eligibility.
• Additional grade level or content area certification may be required for select positions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus admin to ensure ARD timelines and records.
• Schedule ARD meetings and develop appropriate IEPs.
• Coordinate with contracted service providers as needed.
• Ensure compliant IEP documentation and progress reporting.
