The teacher will collaborate with administration, general and special education colleagues, and community partners to ensure high-quality education and compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and NM teaching license endorsed as needed.
• General responsibilities include planning instruction and managing classroom activities.

• Communicate accurately and effectively with students and maintain a professional rapport.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources for each area taught.
• Utilize student assessment techniques and procedures.
• Obtain feedback from and communicate with students to enhance learning.
• Manage the classroom to maximize instructional time and promote positive behavior.
• Create an atmosphere conducive to student involvement and diverse learning needs.
• Prepare for instruction and maintain records as required by the district.
