Job summary

Abound Health is seeking caring Host Families in the Lehigh Valley to join its Life Sharing Program. You will host an individual with an intellectual or developmental disability in your home, forming a long-term, family-like relationship built on trust and daily shared life.

As a contract position, families provide a safe, welcoming home and collaborate on person-centered plans with Abound Health. Training, ongoing support, and 24/7 emergency assistance are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be Pennsylvania resident
• Be at least 21 years old
• Pass background checks (FBI, child abuse, criminal)

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stable, welcoming home
• Support daily living skills and routines
• Offer mentorship, companionship, and emotional support
• Encourage community involvement and recreational activities
• Collaborate with Abound Health to follow person-centered plans
