Job summary

Abound Health is seeking kind and stable individuals or families across Pennsylvania to become Life Sharing Host Families. You will provide a sense of belonging, stability, and purpose by welcoming a person with I/DD into your home and daily life, coordinating with Abound Health on person-centered plans.

Host families receive a daily stipend, ongoing training, and 24/7 support from Abound Health. This contract position offers flexible matching and ongoing case management to ensure successful

Qualifications

Be Pennsylvania residents or willing to relocate (as applicable)
Be at least 21 years old
Pass required background checks (FBI, child abuse, criminal)
Complete home inspections and meet safety standards
Provide personal and professional references
Participate in interviews and a matching assessment
Be willing to include the individual in meals, routines, activities, and family life

Responsibilities

Provide a safe, stable, and welcoming home
Support daily living skills and household routines
Offer mentorship, companionship, and emotional support
Encourage community involvement and recreational activities
Collaborate with Abound Health to follow person-centered plans
