Job summary

Abound Health seeks caring families across Pennsylvania to join the Life Sharing Program as Host Families. You will welcome an individual with an I/DD into your home, building a lasting, family-like relationship based on trust, belonging, and shared experiences.

As a Host Family, you provide not only a home but stability, purpose, and ongoing support. The program includes daily stipend, training, and 24/7 support to ensure successful matches and continued growth.

Qualifications

• Must pass FBI, child abuse, and criminal background checks.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Residents of Pennsylvania, open to all counties.
• Willing to provide personal references and participate in interviews and a matching assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stable, and welcoming home.
• Support daily living skills and routines.
• Offer mentorship, companionship, and emotional support.
• Encourage community involvement and activities.
• Collaborate with Abound Health to follow person-centered plans.
• Promote independence, dignity, and personal growth.
