Job summary

Abound Health is seeking compassionate individuals or families to become Life Sharing Host Families in Pennsylvania. This role allows you to welcome an individual with a developmental disability into your home, building lasting bonds and providing meaningful support.

Host Families are independent contractors offering daily mentoring, companionship, and emotional support while maintaining their own routines. Flexible matching and extensive training are provided for participants.

Qualifications

• Residents of Pennsylvania, all counties welcome.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pass required background checks.
• Complete home inspections and meet safety standards.
• Provide personal and professional references.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stable, and welcoming home.
• Support daily living skills and household routines.
• Offer mentorship, companionship, and emotional support.
• Encourage community involvement and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with Abound Health to follow person-centered plans.
