Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a technical support specialist to aid customers in adopting company products and resolving scientific issues. You will communicate product benefits, assist with troubleshooting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer outcomes.

The role emphasizes lab expertise in molecular biology and protein chemistry, with targets including ELISA, Western blot, and flow cytometry, while supporting product literature and training materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in molecular biology, laboratory science, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry.
2+ years of laboratory experience.
Strong problem solving and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers on product use and customer questions.
Solve problems of diverse scope requiring evaluation of identifiable factors.
Offer guidance on products based on end user needs and research interests; improve business opportunities.
Participate in SME team; develop and maintain SME materials.
Write, edit, and maintain technical literature (Q/A, protocols, product inserts).
Keep up to date on current technology and product lines (attend seminars, read literature, use products).
Coordinate notifications, including Field Notifications, Discontinuations, and New Product Releases.
Provide technical training and literature for internal customers.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
