Job summary

Guidehouse’s Life Sciences practice seeks an Associate Director to lead project teams across pharma, biotech, medical devices and diagnostics. You will shape product planning, pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies while ensuring client satisfaction and on-time delivery.

You will mentor consultants, manage budgets, develop business opportunities, and collaborate with senior leaders. Travel to client sites across the US is expected, and you will grow client relationships and

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field; advanced degree/PhD preferred.
• 8+ years in life sciences industry (pharma/biotech/medical tech) and strategy consulting.
• Subject matter expertise in product planning, market access, pricing & reimbursement, and regulatory/compliance.
• 3+ years leading project engagements with budget, scope and timelines.
• 3+ years of team management and mentorship.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across the US up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead designated project teams from cultivation to completion, ensuring high quality client-ready deliverables.
• Develop and manage work plans, staffing, deadlines and budgets; guide multiple projects concurrently.
• Support sales initiatives and practice development; collaborate with Directors and MDs.
• Provide coaching and career development feedback to staff consultants.
