Job summary

Accenture's Salesforce Life Sciences team seeks a Functional Architect to lead the functional design of a defined workstream within a Salesforce Life Sciences program. You will run requirements sessions, translate business processes into platform solutions and guide a team of analysts and configurators, partnering with technical leads to deliver your designs.

You will work directly with client owners, chair workshops, and influence architecture direction while growing into broader leadership

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Salesforce experience in a functional design, business analysis or solution consulting capacity.
• Experience delivering Salesforce solutions for Life Sciences or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional solution design for an assigned workstream or capability within a Salesforce Life Sciences program.
• Lead design workshops with client business and product owners, translating outcomes into user stories and technical designs.
• Configure and demonstrate Salesforce Life Sciences capabilities, build prototypes, and validate design decisions with stakeholders.
• Make day-to-day design decisions within your domain and escalate cross-workstream decisions as needed.
• Partner with technical leads to ensure designs are buildable and support estimation, sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Guide and review the work of functional analysts and offshore team members, providing coaching and quality oversight.
• Contribute to architecture governance and design reviews by preparing materials and applying standards.
• Support testing, data migration, training and deployment activities for your workstream, and drive user adoption post go-live.
• Contribute to proposals, demonstrations and estimates during pursuits and build reusable assets for Life Sciences practice.
• Identify and raise design, scope and delivery risks within your workstream and work with leadership on mitigation.
