Job summary

Accenture's Salesforce Life Sciences team is seeking a Functional Architect who will own end-to-end functional design for Life Sciences workstreams within a Salesforce program. You will lead workshops, translate business processes into platform solutions, and collaborate with product owners and technical leads to drive delivery.

You will guide a team of analysts and configurators, ensure designs meet governance standards, and contribute to testing, data migration, and post-go-live adoption.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce experience in a functional design, business analysis or solution consulting capacity.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering Salesforce solutions for Life Sciences clients or another regulated industry.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Salesforce Life Sciences Patient services experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Salesforce Life Sciences experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years); if Associate's degree, minimum 6 years work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional solution design for an assigned workstream within a Salesforce Life Sciences program, aligned with the architecture direction.
• Lead design workshops with client business and product owners, translating outcomes into user stories and functional specs.
• Configure and demonstrate Salesforce Life Sciences capabilities; build prototypes and walkthroughs.
• Make day-to-day design decisions within your domain and escalate cross-workstream decisions as needed.
• Partner with technical leads to ensure designs are buildable and support estimation, sprint planning and backlog grooming.
