Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing for the Life Sciences sector. You will lead technology-enabled transformation workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure regulatory alignment in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The role combines plant-floor insight with digital, data, and AI delivery expertise to drive measurable improvements across production, quality, and supply continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, business, or related discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing experience or related field.
• Experience leading client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstreams through design and deployment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or comparably regulated manufacturing.
• Practical understanding of GxP, data integrity, and related validation/change-control requirements.
• Ability to travel 80-100% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing workstreams in Life Sciences manufacturing transformation with full ownership of plans, deliverables, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
• Assess current-state production and quality processes, data flows, and system landscapes through workshops and data analysis.
• Translate priorities into designs, requirements, acceptance criteria, and measurable improvements.
• Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, recipe management, genealogy, and connected-worker workflows.
• Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, DCS/PLC, and cloud/edge platforms.
• Define data mappings, master-data needs, interface specs, and data-quality controls for reporting and AI use cases.
• Work with quality and validation teams to reflect GxP and data-integrity requirements in deliverables.
• Oversee configuration activities, testing, deployment readiness, training, cutover, and handover for the workstream.
