Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Client-facing Life Sciences Manufacturing Manager to lead technology-enabled transformation workstreams that improve plant performance, quality, compliance, and supply reliability. You’ll translate plant-floor needs into actionable requirements and coordinate with architecture, automation, data, and cybersecurity specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, information systems or related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing technology, or related field.
• Experience leading a client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstream through design and at least one deployment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or comparably regulated manufacturing environments.
• Translating manufacturing needs into process, data, integration, or testing deliverables.
• Understanding of GxP, data integrity, and change-control considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing workstreams in Life Sciences manufacturing transformation with ownership of plans and outcomes.
• Assess current-state production, quality processes, and data flows through workshops and data analysis.
• Translate priorities into functional designs and acceptance criteria for MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, and related systems.
• Coordinate integration requirements across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, and OT/IT systems.
• Define data mappings, master-data needs, and data-quality controls for reporting and analytics.
• Oversee testing, defect resolution, deployment readiness, and handover for your workstream.
