Job summary

EY is seeking a Life Sciences Manufacturing Manager to lead technology-enabled transformation workstreams for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical-device clients. You’ll combine practical plant-floor knowledge with digital, data, AI, and delivery skills to drive improvements in quality, yield, and supply reliability in regulated environments.

You will coordinate MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, and OT/IT interfaces, translate plant needs into actionable requirements, and guide design,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems, or related field.
At least 7 years of relevant Life Sciences manufacturing or related experience.
Experience leading client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or technology workstreams.
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/biotech/medical devices).
Ability to translate manufacturing needs into deliverables and coordinate teams.
GxP, data integrity, and validation knowledge.
Willingness to travel 80-100%.

Responsibilities

Lead client-facing life sciences manufacturing transformation workstreams with clear ownership.
Assess current-state processes, data flows, gaps, and site constraints.
Translate priorities into designs, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Define functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, recipe management, genealogy, connected-worker tools.
Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, and OT/IT systems.
Oversee testing, deployment readiness, training, and handover.
Facilitate cross-functional sessions and manage scope, schedule, risks.
