Job summary

EY is seeking a Life Sciences Manufacturing Manager to lead technology-enabled transformation workstreams across pharma, biotech and medical-device clients. You will drive design, implementation, testing and stabilization of manufacturing and quality improvements in regulated environments.

You will coordinate MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS and OT/IT systems while translating plant needs into actionable requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, supply chain, information systems or related discipline.
7+ years in Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing technology, operational excellence, AI/tech consulting or related field.
Experience leading a client-facing manufacturing/digital/tech workstream through design and at least one deployment.
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/biotech/medical devices).
Translating manufacturing needs into process, data, and testing deliverables with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of GxP, data integrity, validation, and change-control considerations.

Responsibilities

Lead client-facing workstreams in Life Sciences manufacturing transformation and deliver clear plans, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
Assess current-state production, quality processes, data flows, and site constraints.
Translate priorities into process designs, acceptance criteria, and measurable improvements.
Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, and recipe management.
Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, and automation systems.
Define data mappings, master-data needs, and data-quality controls for reporting and analytics.
Support analytics and AI use cases with data readiness and evaluation criteria.
Ensure GxP and validation requirements reflected in workstream deliverables.
Oversee testing, deployment readiness, training, and handover.
Facilitate cross-functional sessions and manage scope, schedule, and risks.
Mentor junior team members and capture reusable patterns.
