Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Client-facing Life Sciences Manufacturing Manager to lead technology-enabled transformation workstreams that improve plant performance, quality, compliance, and supply reliability. The role blends practical manufacturing knowledge with digital, data, AI, and delivery skills to turn operational needs into solutions for regulated environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, or related field.
7+ years of Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing technology, or related field.
Experience leading a client-facing manufacturing, digital, data, or tech workstream through design and deployment.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or regulated environments.
Knowledge of GxP, validation, change-control and data integrity considerations.
Ability to travel 80–100% as required.

Responsibilities

Lead client-facing Life Sciences manufacturing transformation workstreams with plan ownership and risk management.
Assess current-state production and quality processes; translate needs into requirements.
Develop functional designs for batch execution, electronic batch records, and related capabilities.
Coordinate integration across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, OT systems, and cloud/edge platforms.
Define data mappings and validation needs for reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
Oversee testing, deployment readiness, training, cutover support, and handover.
