Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a Life Sciences Lab Technician to support biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and chemistry labs. The role focuses on preparation, teardown, safety, and general laboratory organization for instructional labs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate degree in biology or related field.
• Experience in a science or life sciences laboratory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down instructional life science laboratories and practicals.
• Prepare solutions, media, cultures, and materials as directed by faculty.
• Support microbiology lab prep, sterilization, cleanup, and waste disposal.
