Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services seeks an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day workflows, staff, and resources within a defined department. You will ensure timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction while leading process improvements.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, SOP development, audit readiness, and collaboration with management across functions. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed, in Columbia, MO.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of BSc in Cell & Molecular Biology or Biochemistry.
• Significant supervisory experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong leadership, project management, regulatory knowledge, problem-solving, and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational workflows and systems supporting client-facing activities within the assigned department.
• Oversee staff scheduling, workload planning, resource allocation, and daily operational execution to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Act as the primary departmental contact for internal, client, and regulatory audits and inspections, including preparation of responses and implementation of CAPA activities.
• Develop, review, and implement SOPs, policies, and procedures while ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory standards.
