Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Laboratory Director to lead the laboratory, ensure profitability, and align with corporate policies. The role requires strong management, regulatory knowledge, and a focus on customer relations.

The position oversees staff, safety, SOP adherence, and collaboration with QA, HR, and finance to drive operational excellence and service quality.

Qualifications

• BS in a science-related field is preferred.
• 5 years management experience.
• 5 years analytical experience or related technical knowledge.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Manage the laboratory to achieve positive operating margins and meet budget goals.
• Foster a culture of engagement and partner with HR to uphold policies.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships and drive sales growth.
• Establish and maintain a positive safety culture and ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure SOPs are implemented and compliant.
• Forecast receipts and provide quality analytical data to clients to meet deadlines.
• Lead business teams to develop sales strategies and travel as needed.
• Oversee staffing levels, budgets, and policies, and mentor key staff.
