Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
• 5+ years of professional or military experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience contributing to strategies that influence leadership decisions
• 5+ Years of Life Sciences experience
• Experience with startups or large enterprise customers
• Experience in business development or sales roles within life sciences, healthcare, or technology sectors
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and technical evaluations

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong technical understanding of AWS services and communicate value propositions to diagnostics, pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and CROs.
• Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, solutions architecture, and other teams to deliver compelling business and technical proposals for genomics, precision medicine, and clinical diagnostics.
• Qualify and manage high-potential opportunities, guiding customers through the sales cycle and addressing regulatory, data security, and bioinformatics concerns.
• Build and expand Life Sciences services relationships with key systems integrators and industry partners.
• Contribute to revenue growth and service adoption to meet program revenue and pipeline targets.
• Support go-to-market models covering key segments and customers in genomics, clinical diagnostics, and personalized medicine.
• Interface with customers at VP/Director levels, including roles like VP of Operations, Director of Bioinformatics, and Head of Clinical Systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, BD, Product, Finance, Marketing, Training, Operations and Legal.
