Databricks is seeking a Manager, Field Engineering (Specialist) to lead the Specialist Solutions Architect team in the Life Sciences vertical. Based in the Northeast U.S., you will partner with pre-sales and delivery teams to drive technical wins, accelerate DBU consumption, and guide teams to communicate complex, outcome-based results.

You will hire and scale the Specialist team, foster collaboration across functions, and push for production-ready use cases in healthcare, genomics, and clinical

Qualifications

• 2+ years leadership experience building and guiding teams.
• Expertise designing and implementing large-scale solutions in healthcare and life sciences.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR and HL7/FHIR/DICOM standards.
• Experience with data-driven decision making and cloud/SaaS models.

Responsibilities

• Hire and build the Specialist Solutions Architect team.
• Scale the field engineering segment while maintaining quality.
• Foster a collaborative culture within a hyper-growth team.
• Drive product adoption and accelerate life sciences use cases to production.
