Consulting Point is expanding its US platform and seeks a managing director with a proven ability to sell consulting engagements to US-based life sciences firms across pharma, biotech and medtech.
You will lead end-to-end engagements from origination to delivery, cultivate senior relationships across commercial, medical affairs and market access, and help scale the practice on the East Coast including Philadelphia, New York, Boston and Chicago.
Our client, a highly regarded life sciences strategy consultancy, is expanding its US platform and looking to hire a managing director with a track record of selling consulting engagements to US based life science corporations. The firm advises leading pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech organisations across high-impact strategic and commercial challenges, including asset strategy, launch excellence, patient and customer value, market access, commercial transformation and operating model design. Their work spans the full product lifecycle, from Phase II/III strategy through to post-launch growth and optimisation.
The business combines deep scientific expertise with strategy consulting, digital and AI-enabled capabilities, supporting a prestigious client base including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Roche, AbbVie, GSK, Takeda, Johnson & Johnson, Merck and Gilead.

The firm is open to both individual senior hires and small team moves, particularly where there is portable client network, proven sales capability and the ability to scale quickly. Primary hiring focus is across the East Coast US including Philadelphia, New York, Boston and Chicago, although strong West Coast life sciences networks will also be considered.
