BioTalent, a specialist life sciences consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to join its growing team in New York. You will lead consulting engagements from inception through delivery, manage client relationships, and guide multiple workstreams alongside senior pharma and biotech leaders.

You will design future operating models, develop strategic roadmaps, and drive transformation programs across Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of consulting experience in pharma, biotech or life sciences.
• Experience building capability and driving functional excellence.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Proven track record leading client engagements and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver multiple consulting engagements simultaneously.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for senior client stakeholders.
• Manage and develop consulting teams, providing coaching and mentorship.
• Translate complex business challenges into actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops and executive-level discussions.

This is an opportunity to work directly with senior pharmaceutical and biotech leaders, helping them design and deliver large-scale transformation, capability building and functional excellence initiatives across Medical Affairs and Commercial teams.

The Opportunity

As a Manager, you will lead consulting engagements from inception through to delivery, managing client relationships, project teams and multiple workstreams simultaneously.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop functional strategies, design future operating models and implement transformation programmes that drive measurable organisational impact.

• Proven experience leading client engagements and managing consulting teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience presenting to senior leadership teams and facilitating strategic decision-making
• Strong structured problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Degree educated, with a strong academic background
