Our client, a premier global leader in healthcare intelligence and commercial scientific consulting, is looking to expand their strategic communications division. We are seeking a high-level Strategic Communications Lead to act as a senior advisor for elite pharmaceutical and biotech accounts.

This is a pipeline requisition for an upcoming expansion within their specialist communications arm.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will move beyond standard execution to become a true partner to Big Pharma executives. You will interrogate complex briefs, develop evidence-based scientific narratives, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-value programs that align with global business objectives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Strategic Counsel: Act as a peer-level consultant to senior pharmaceutical leaders, providing rigorous, evidence-based solutions for their most complex communication challenges.
  • Narrative Development: Oversee the creation of scientific platforms, corporate narratives, and high-stakes executive presentations.
  • Business Growth: Identify organic growth opportunities within existing portfolios and lead high-impact proposals for new business ventures.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and direct account teams, ensuring high-quality delivery while fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project profitability, including accurate forecasting, resource allocation, and budget management.
What You Bring
  • Experience: At least 8+ years in Healthcare PR, Medical Communications, or Scientific Strategy.
  • Industry Fluency: Deep knowledge of the pharma/biotech landscape, including M&A activity, clinical trial design, and the regulatory environment.
  • Consultative Mindset: A proven ability to challenge client thinking constructively and provide "ad-hoc" counsel in high-pressure situations.
  • Leadership: Experience managing both internal teams and external vendor relationships while maintaining high standards of excellence.
  • Scientific Depth: While this is a communications role, you must be comfortable discussing MOAs, epidemiology, and emerging trends (e.g., AI in drug discovery, CRISPR, or Genomics).
Technical & Strategic Skills

Proficiency in scientific messaging, social content strategy, and senior-level stakeholder engagement.

Working knowledge of healthcare marketing models and behavioral change theories.

Strong financial acumen regarding agency-side resource management and P&L.

Why Apply?

This is a chance to join a team that sits at the intersection of data, science, and creativity. You will work for a global powerhouse known for accelerating medical breakthroughs and improving patient outcomes worldwide.

Note: To be considered for this role, you must be currently residing in the United States. Our client is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and integrity in the hiring process.
