Job summary

Arcadia is seeking a Director, Business Development - Life Sciences to build and close enterprise relationships with pharma and biotech companies within an assigned territory. This individual contributor role drives end-to-end selling, from prospecting to contract negotiation, partnering with product, data, ops, delivery, legal, and finance.

You will synthesize data- and analytics-driven solutions, navigate across R&D, HEOR, market access, and commercial teams, and maintain rigorous pipeline

Qualifications

• 5+ years of selling into pharma/biotech with a quota-carrying role.
• Experience selling data-, analytics-, or evidence-driven solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Life Sciences functions and decision processes.
• Ability to engage scientific buyers (PhDs, MDs) with credibility on methods.
• Experience negotiating enterprise data licensing agreements (DUAs, MSAs).
• Disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Build and qualify Life Sciences pipeline in assigned territory.
• Lead discovery conversations across R&D, HEOR, medical, market access.
• Translate client needs into data and analytics solutions.
• Negotiate enterprise data licenses and pricing.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and leadership to finalize terms.
• Maintain CRM hygiene and forecast accuracy.
