Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (Masters desirable).
• CPA certification required.
• 8+ years’ experience in financial statement auditing in a professional services firm; life sciences desired.
• 5+ years in Life Sciences, Technology and/or Manufacturing.
• 5+ years supervisory experience mentoring associates.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise others with client service focus and ethical commitment.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted engagement team member delivering assurance and consulting services to middle market clients.
• Engage with clients to understand goals and challenges.
• Develop testing to assess internal controls and provide improvement recommendations.
• Manage fieldwork to ensure quality and timely results.
• Provide guidance on financial statements and business considerations.
• Drive client profitability and staffing targets; cross-sell across service lines.
• Help grow the practice by networking and pursuing new opportunities with clients.
• Mentor staff and support professional development through firm programs.
