Job summary

Genesee Scientific Corporation in Houston is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales within a defined territory and build strong customer relationships. You will manage pricing, partner with cross-functional teams, and provide consultative inventory planning support to customers.

The role requires 3+ years in sales or lab experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and proficiency with Salesforce and video conferencing tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in sales or research laboratory industry, or lab experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct virtual sales presentations and product demonstrations via Zoom/Teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools for data management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of territory to build and sustain strong customer relationships.
• Manage pricing in territory to achieve financial targets.
• Independently make decisions while leveraging available resources to fulfill customer needs.
• Monitor competitor and industry activity; stay updated on products/services to inform the business plan.
• Maintain detailed activity logging in Salesforce for pipeline management and visibility.
• Provide customers with updates on supply and price trends and offer consultative inventory planning support.
• Use virtual tools to deliver demonstrations and sales presentations.
• Represent Genesee Scientific professionally in all customer interactions.
