Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Kyle, TX is seeking a part-time donor screener. You will greet donors, answer phones, screen donors, record vital signs and finger sticks, and maintain accurate donor charts in our information system.

You will support center operations, coordinate donor compensation, and contribute to process improvements. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger sticks.
• Use Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities and implement center process improvements.
• Support donors with shifts including weekends and holidays.
