Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Georgia seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review SPE and lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable results.

You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, complying with plasma industry regulations and supporting EHS programs.

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified in the state of responsibilities (LPN or LVN).
• Completion of FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and self-exclusion processes.
• Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.
• Notify donors of unsuitable test results and coordinate with medical staff for next steps.
• Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
