Job summary

Mid-South Transplant Foundation in Memphis seeks a Community Outreach Specialist to lead programs promoting organ, tissue, and eye donation. You will develop partnerships, deliver presentations, and coordinate outreach events in the service area to boost donor registrations.

The role requires a strong background in marketing or communications, experience with diverse communities, and the ability to work autonomously with a flexible schedule, including evenings and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of five years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of multicultural communities with outreach experience focused on diverse populations.
• Graphic design skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, and support programs that promote organ, tissue, and eye donation.
• Increase donor registrations and build positive relationships in the service area.
• Develop community partnerships, deliver presentations, and coordinate outreach activities and events.
• Support donor registration efforts with autonomy and limited supervision.
