Job summary

Tennessee Donor Services in Jackson, Tennessee is seeking an External Affairs Coordinator to drive community outreach, events, and public relations to raise donor awareness. You will collaborate with partners, manage campaigns, and engage volunteers to foster community involvement in organ and tissue donation.

The role requires strong communication, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Local travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Three plus years in community outreach, event planning, public speaking, communication, management and/or marketing.
• Demonstrated writing and public speaking abilities.
• Exceptional teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and multitask.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to approach marketing creatively.

Responsibilities

• Raise awareness for organ donation through community events, campaigns, and presentations to increase the donor registry.
• Develop strong community and corporate partnerships to advance our mission.
• Engage partners through social media, webinars, podcasts, and other platforms.
• Coordinate opportunities and events for Donate Life Ambassadors to inspire community involvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
