Job summary

Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA) is seeking an Organ Recovery Coordinator I to evaluate donor referrals, maximize medical management, allocate organs, and coordinate recovery with hospital staff and transplant centers. This role requires independent decision-making in a high-stress environment and involves 24-hour on-call duties with inter-regional travel.

Qualifications

• RN License required.
• Medical professional certification or Associate’s degree with minimum 1 year of professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Accepts on-call responsibilities and performs referral evaluation.
• Evaluates medical suitability of potential donors with patient records and current status.
• Collaborates with hospital staff to develop referral management plans from referral to death/declaration.
