Job summary

Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (TOSA) is seeking an Onsite Clinical Responder to manage referrals, perform on-site evaluations, and facilitate communication with hospital teams. The role requires EMR proficiency and regulatory understanding to support organ donation processes.

As a full-time, on-site position in Texas, you will collaborate with physicians, clinical leadership, and staff while traveling within the designated service area as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in allied or health science required or preferred.
• RN, LVN, Paramedic, RRT license preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical/critical care environment is required.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC, Cerner, Meditech preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Triages referrals on-site and by phone with high-quality customer service.
• Performs referral evaluation, medical suitability review, and documentation.
• Maintains EMR access and records for all referrals and donor activity.
• Collaborates with hospital staff to advance referral management from intake to donation.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to legal standards and organizational policies.
