Job summary

Baxter in Marion, NC is seeking a Production Technician I, STS, to support fill operations in a fast-paced, controlled environment. You will monitor equipment, perform quality checks, document results, and ensure materials and supplies are ready for production, contributing to drug formulation and safe, compliant manufacturing.

You are expected to have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and English skills, and the ability to work with standard lab tools.

Qualifications

• Must have basic English communication skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematics and use a calculator.
• Basic computer skills and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and adjust filling equipment and machines.
• Perform scheduled quality checks and disposition products.
• Document information on manufacturing logs or POMS system.
• Reload production supplies using a powered industrial truck.
• Execute batch/code changes and tank changes as required.
• Escalate inefficiencies and safety/quality issues to supervision.
• Use measurement tools and calibrate as needed.
• Follow 6S and cgmp SOPs; maintain clean, safe area.
