Job summary

BAXTER in Asheville, NC is hiring a Production Technician I, Fill/Pouch to support life-saving drug products. You will operate filling equipment, perform quality checks, and document outcomes in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Key duties include minor equipment adjustments, batch changes, and ensuring GMP compliance. Training is provided, with shifts offering flexibility and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic English written and oral communication skills.
• Understand safety and quality instructions and read work instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
• Proficient with a calculator and measurement tools.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust filling equipment and machines via controls or sensors.
• Perform scheduled quality checks and document results.
• Discontinue production if deviations are found and notify supervisor.
• Log information in manufacturing logs or POMS system.
• Set up and replenish production supplies using PIT.
• Execute batch/code changes and tank changes as required.
• Identify inefficiencies and safety/quality issues and escalate.
