Emergency Telecommunicator Services seeks an Emergency Medical Dispatcher in Altoona, PA. You will receive calls for medical emergencies, confirm locations, gather patient data, and determine response priorities using approved protocols.

Night, weekend, and holiday shifts may apply. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and an Emergency Medical Dispatcher certification where required; CPR certification and related coursework may be needed.

• Receive calls involving illness, injury, and other medical emergencies
• Confirm the patient’s location, callback number, and access details
• Ask approved questions about the patient’s condition

• Dispatch or coordinate ambulance resources when included in the assignment
• Provide protocol-based instructions within current qualifications
• Relay patient information and scene hazards to responding personnel
• Document call processing and participate in quality-review activities
