Job summary

The American Red Cross in the United States seeks a Blood Storage & Distribution Technician to join our logistics team. You will receive, process, pack, and ship blood products for hospital orders, triaging by date and time and ensuring precise temperature control to preserve product integrity.

You will communicate with hospital clients, volunteers, and vendors and maintain traceable records. This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and safety.

Qualifications

• You will be responsible for receiving, processing, packing and shipping blood products/samples for hospital orders.
• You will triage orders by date and time and ensure correct temperature control to preserve product integrity.
• You will communicate with hospital clients, volunteers, and vendors and maintain product records to preserve traceability.
• Position may require a valid driver?s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products/samples are suitable for release for distribution, while meeting production goals.
• Perform inventory management throughout the manufacturing and shipping process.
• Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.
• May make hospital deliveries as assigned.
