The American Red Cross is seeking a Blood Storage & Distribution Technician in the United States. This role handles receiving, processing, packing and shipping blood products, triaging hospital orders, and ensuring traceability of records.

You will communicate with hospital clients, volunteers, and vendors, maintaining quality and timely service. You will work a 4x10 schedule (8:30pm–7:00am, Fri–Mon) with training in weeks 1–4.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good computer skills, attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure products/samples are suitable for release for distribution, while meeting production goals.
• Perform good inventory management practices throughout the manufacturing and shipping process
• Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.
• Data entry associated with manufacturing, labeling, storage, ordering, and shipping; maintain records.
• Identify and quarantine products/samples that don’t meet quality requirements.
• May make hospital deliveries as assigned.
