Job summary

The American Red Cross is hiring a Blood Storage & Distribution Technician to receive, process, pack, and ship blood products for hospital orders. You will triage orders by urgency, select temperature-controlled packaging, and maintain traceability records while communicating with hospitals and vendors.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ experience in regulatory, distribution, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good computer skills, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, pack and ship blood products for hospital orders.
• Triage orders by date/time needed and ensure correct temperature-controlled packaging.
• Maintain product records to preserve traceability and communicate with clients, volunteers, and vendors.
