Raymond James is seeking a specialist to facilitate the underwriting process for life insurance applications submitted by financial advisors/agents. You will coordinate requirements, liaise with underwriters and advisors, and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction in a hybrid work setting.

The role involves maintaining carrier contacts, monitoring product updates, and ensuring accurate risk classifications based on medical records and information provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5+ years in annuities, life insurance, or related financial services.
• Associates degree with 1+ year experience acceptable; bachelor's preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• License in Life, Health, or Variable Annuities is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to financial advisors/agents in completing life insurance applications.
• Develop and maintain contacts at insurance carriers.
• Keep abreast of product updates and underwriting guidelines.
• Update life team on underwriting issues and status updates to advisors.
• Coordinate with licensing team on submitted business issues.
• Review medical information to ensure quoted risk class remains appropriate.
