Qualifications

• High School Diploma; 5+ years in life insurance or financial services.
• Experience with annuities, long-term care and disability income products.
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and process flows.
• Licenses helpful (Life, Health and Variable Annuities) but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to financial advisors/agents in completing life insurance applications.
• Develop and maintain contacts at insurance carriers and underwriters.
• Update life team on underwriting issues and eight details via email or system.
• Review medical records to ensure required items are received and accurate.
• Coordinate with internal underwriter on risk class appropriateness.
• Back-up illustrations and assist with offers other than applied for.
