Raymond James is seeking an associate to provide support to Life Care Specialists in underwriting life insurance applications submitted by financial advisors. You will prepare client files, enter records into the agency management system, and coordinate with vendors to order underwriting requirements and follow up on outstanding items.

The role involves processing orders, tracking exam and records completion, and assisting with daily tasks in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience in life insurance, annuities, or related financial services.
• Experience supporting underwriting or processing life insurance applications is a plus.
• Proficient in using agency management systems and secure document delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial review of submitted life insurance applications.
• Validate agent licensing and appointments for submitted business.
• Input cases into the agency management system for permanent record keeping.
• Submit good order applications to carriers via secure delivery.
