The Wright Agency is seeking a driven Life Insurance Specialist to join our Stamford, CT team. You’ll help clients protect what matters most by recommending appropriate life insurance products and building lasting relationships.

In this role, you’ll prospect, quote, and sell policies, educate clients on term, whole, and universal life options, and manage the full sales cycle. Flexible work-from-home options are available, with a focus on meeting sales targets and delivering financial wellness.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut and/or New York Life & Health Insurance license, or ability to obtain quickly.
• Prior life insurance sales or financial services experience preferred.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• CRM and basic office technology proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, quote and sell life insurance policies to new and existing clients.
• Perform needs-based assessments to tailor coverage.
• Grow a book of business through referrals, networking, and outbound outreach.
• Educate clients on term, whole, and universal life options.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead to policy issuance.
• Collaborate with team to cross-sell Allstate products.
• Maintain accurate client records and activity logs.

Responsibilities:

• Prospect, quote, and sell life insurance policies to new and existing clients
• Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend appropriate life insurance products and coverage levels
• Build and maintain a strong book of business through referrals, networking, and outbound outreach
• Educate clients on term life, whole life, and universal life insurance options
• Follow up with leads and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to policy issuance
• Collaborate with agency team members to cross-sell and upsell additional Allstate products
• Maintain accurate client records and activity logs using agency CRM tools

Requirements:

• Active Connecticut and/or New York Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain one promptly)
• Prior experience in life insurance sales or financial services preferred
• Strong communication, consultative selling, and closing skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets
• Proficiency with CRM software and basic office technology
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to integrity and professionalism
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or related field a plus
