Job summary

Kemper Corporation is seeking an Life Insurance Sales Agent in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a full-time field role where you will visit customers, present insurance products, collect premiums, and service policies.

You will start with paid onboarding and training to prepare for licensing exams, then work with an existing book of business, earning commissions on premiums and new sales. Career growth and rewards are performance driven.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
