Kemper Corporation seeks a motivated Insurance Agent Trainee in Wilson, NC, for a field-based life insurance sales role. You will be trained, licensed, and placed on an existing book of business to collect premiums and drive new policy sales.

With a pay-for-performance compensation model, earnings grow with performance as you develop product knowledge and sales skills. Strong customer service helps build trust and long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with required auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales presentations, recommend products, and close new sales.
• Prospect for new sales opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule you determine.
• Respond to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
