Job summary

Kemper Corporation is seeking a Life Insurance Sales Agent to operate in the field, visiting customers to collect premiums and sell policies. A paid training period helps new agents study for licensing exams, after which you’ll manage an existing book of business and earn commissions on premiums and new sales.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales presentations, recommend products and close sales.
• Prospect for new sales opportunities.
• Maintain relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule.
• Respond to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, or loans.
• Record keeping and processing policy paperwork.
