Western Dakota Insurors, Inc. in Rapid City, SD is seeking an entry-level Life & Health Account Assistant to support our Life & Health team.

You will handle administrative tasks, service client accounts, process changes, enrollments, and billing while learning carrier systems and agency procedures. This role offers comprehensive training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow your insurance knowledge into a long-term career with a family-owned independent agency.

Qualifications

• Previous insurance experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life & Health Account Managers with day-to-day servicing of client accounts.
• Maintain regular client communication to ensure prompt, professional service.
• Coordinate with carriers regarding applications, renewals, and policy changes.
• Assist with marketing, enrollment, billing, and eligibility for client accounts.
• Prepare and process policy changes, proposals, quotes, and renewals.
• Learn carrier systems and agency software through hands-on experience.
