Qualifications

• Active Life & Health insurance license
• 3-5 years of Life & Health insurance experience preferred
• Experience managing and servicing an established book of business
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers and navigating carrier processes
• Strong understanding of policy administration, renewals, proposals, quotes, and coverage changes
• Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an established Life & Health book of business
• Maintain direct and proactive communication with clients to ensure they receive exceptional service
• Work closely with producers, insurance carriers, and clients throughout the policy lifecycle
• Manage renewals, policy changes, proposals, quotes, and coverage reviews
• Review policy and plan information for accuracy and communicate important details to clients
• Respond promptly and professionally to client questions, service requests, and coverage needs
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve service issues and ensure requests are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and policy information within agency systems
• Provide proactive problem-solving and follow-up to both clients and producers
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and carrier representatives

Western Dakota Insurors is seeking an experienced Life & Health Account Manager to join our team in Rapid City, SD.

We are looking for someone who is well-versed in Life and Health insurance and brings in-depth, hands-on experience working with Life and Health insurance products, policies, clients, and carriers. This is not an entry-level position—we are seeking a knowledgeable insurance professional who can confidently manage accounts and provide excellent service to our clients.
