Community First Credit Union is seeking a Teller to provide WOW service to our members while handling cash and processing a high volume of transactions. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, at least one year of cash handling experience, strong listening and communication skills, and familiarity with MS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of cash handling experience; Teller experience is a plus.
• Excellent listening ability and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages.
• Passion for providing outstanding service to members.
• Ability to work hard, find solutions, and have fun.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, WOW service to members.
• Receive cash and checks for deposit into members' accounts.
• Cash checks for members.
• Accept loan and credit card payments.
• Make transactions between accounts as instructed by members.
• Place proper holds on deposited items for uncollected funds per policy.
• Handle proper disbursement of cashier's checks, money orders, and gift cards.
• Identify non-negotiable and fraudulent checks to avoid losses for the member and the credit union.
• Accurately balance and close cash drawer at end of day.
• Promote, cross-sell, and refer credit union products and services.
