Job summary

Duke Life Flight, part of Duke Health, seeks an experienced Paramedic II to join its critical care transport team in Durham, NC. You will deliver ALS/BLS patient care across air and ground transports, work with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure accurate clinical documentation and equipment readiness.

This role offers a 12-hour shift pattern with orientation weeks, a commitment bonus, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Current NC Paramedic certification; BLS/ACLS/PALS at minimum.
• ITLS/BTLS/ITLS/NRP as applicable; EVOC or comparable license; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ALS/BLS transports within scope.
• Document patient status and treatment in EHR; maintain accurate records.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle readiness; conduct routine inspections.
• Support continuing education and interdepartmental communication.
